We were looking for a place to celebrate our best friend's birthday and we found Segreto in Open Rice. It's a cozy place in Lan Kwai Fong. The gracious host Ermanno greeted us with the finest food and wine. The ingredients were all from Italy, the cooking method was past down through generations. If you are seeking authentic Italian food this is definitely the place to go. We concluded that this has to be the only place in Hong Kong, where you'll feel like eating in Italy. The menu changes accordingly so never get bored. We'll definitely go again... must try the marinated beef... so awesome �

We went as a group of 7 and enjoyed not only some of the best Italian home cooking I have ever eaten but Ermanno's warm and generous hospitality made our evening an event to remember :)

The food is honest, traditional cooking - executed in the most spectacular fashion!!!
All of the ingredients used are fresh and flavourful. The time and love put into each dish is evident from the very first bite.
Sitting around the high kitchen bench as the dishes were prepared and served while Ermanno shared the stories and background of each of the dishes was really interesting and very entertaining.
I can't recommend Easy n' tasty Italian enough!!!

The best private kitchen I ever tried in HK. Definitely private, practically eating around the kitchen (teppanyaki style) with an all home made Italian menu. The chef is a superb host, the food will rock your taste buds. A place to go with your best friends for the best start of the evening.

We had a fantastic meal at Segreto...Ermanno cooked up a fabulous treat of a meal. We all can’t stop talking about it days later. The food was not only delicious and off the charts amazing, the atmosphere and relaxed environment meant that we could enjoy a good meal with good company. No rush. No time limits. Just time to be. It meant for a truly memorable night. We will be back again! Ermanno knows a lot about italian cuisine and his passion shines through....the vongole and caprese torte are not to be missed!
The best coffee i have ever had, Ermanno, you can really do the best coffee in Hong Kong and just wish your studio would be closer to our office so we could drop everyday to have a cup with you. I really recommend any coffee lovers to contact Ermanno and ask him to brew you his secret coffee. Strongly recommended to add a bit of the homemade sugar that will be a good surprise to your experience.

Without a doubt the best private kitchen i tried in Hong Kong. Excellent location in lkf, impeccable service and centuries-old recipes cooked right in front of you. Ermanno made our birthday party truly unforgettable so I went there again for a client-business dinner, different setting and atmosphere but once again top result . Will go again soon!

The pasta and lamb we had the other night were superb.
I liked the sauce of the pasta had chocolate flavour and crispy juicy lamb which you didn’t need mustard or mint.
I had sweet tooth, so couldn’t resist tiramisu.

Bubbles & Pearls menu is a must try and it was a very unique and fun experience. Remember to try his coffee which is infused with almond foam - best dessert coffee I've ever had!
Regardless of whether you're measuring in terms of home or restaurant, Ermanno is a very gracious host, and Sergeto is a place where you can legitimately forget which of the two you've been invited to. His food is out of this world delicious and watching him prepare it with the freshest of ingredients, and with the kind of skill and touch that is rare to find outside an Italian home, is an equally exciting part of the experience. Highly recommended gem and well earned 5/5!
A gastronomic journey from crostini as appetizer to baby lamb as main to tiramisu as dessert. Definitely worth it! Oops, there is a secret carbonara recipe to learn too.
